As I watch my baby girl grow I value photography more and more everyday. It’s a way for me to remember how her tiny feet used to curve slightly, the look on her face when she figured out how to do something, and how her one dimple shows everytime she smiles. She is growing up so fast, and I know that sounds cliche but it’s true and I just want to be able to slow down time. While posed studio photos are great I prefer the photos that make you remember the pain in your side from laughing so hard or the peace you felt during a bedtime cuddle. Images that show just who you are in that exact moment of time. Those will always be my favorite photos.
