You spend so much time planning your wedding down to the tiniest details. I want to make sure you remember those carefully planned details every time you look through your wedding photos. I love to spend time photographing your details to really tell the story of your beautiful day. I have learned that setting aside all the details in a box for me when I arrive on your wedding day really helps me dive into capturing the essence of your wedding. Here is a great checklist of items to pack in your details bag for me to photograph as soon as I arrive.

Essentials: These are items that make your detailed photos really tell the story of your wedding. Your invitation suite is the first item to set the mood of the day. If it is possible, it really helps to have florals there to use with the details to help tie in the look of the entire day:

• Shoes
• Rings
• Flowers

Extras: These are extra items that continue to help tell your love story and all the attention you have put into planning your day. They may also be sentimental items that are special to your wedding day or love story. These are probably my favorite items to photograph for details because they add a unique element to your day:

• Perfume
• Items that match the theme of the day
• Fabric
• Jewelry
• Special heirlooms

Detail photos really help add to the whole story of your day and create a beautiful visual to remember each moment when you are looking through your album for years to come.
